<HTML>With all these issues that have a marginal connection at best, with what the spirit of this forum is about, then is it time to add another Topic ?That way we may be able to keep on track with what we open this forum for in the first place.Perhaps a topic for political matters, or moral issues.I suggested months ago that we should avoid the flamers bait, and ignore it, but no one agreed, or didnt say so, at the time.Maybe we should take these forums to the Conning tower, so that some control is excerised over whats posted
Whilst I agree that there will always be a grey area over whats relevent and whats not, we should perhaps give those that enjoy(if thats the word) heated disscussions over the rights and wrongs of warfare, and in particular submarine warfare a channel to focus their own interests to. I dont feel that the general Disscussion forum is any longer the place for it.We are getting more and more involved with these complex issues, and away from what Gummi intended. Of this I am sure. And before anyone points out that there are already sites that do discuss National Socialist policy or whatever, then please point those from the Uboat Forum in that direction. It says on the home page of tis very site that it is non political , but I fear that on this forum at least its getting like that, one way or another.I am sorry if what I have posted may offend, but I am getting rather fed up of accusations and apologies, and I have a suspicion that many more of us are as well.</HTML>
