<HTML>Hi Terry
Thank you for your nice bit of information on U-534.
I did read it very carefully very great interests..I may add!
Most of my questions have been answer by the Preservation Trust.
Unfortunate & not surprised, only a partial restoration plan is being
done to this U-boat, which is abolutely necessary to slow her decay.
I do totally agree with the Trust, that it is near impossible to reverse
U-534\\\'s condition of 48 years this boat has been laying underwater.
BTW: To the \"Half-wit\" on this forum, and he knows who he is,
you cannot (fully) restore this U-boat for future generations.!
Why:because in the \\\"real\\\" world there isn\\\'t enough historical interests
nor money for this old U-boat in the first place...Sad but true!
If there is.... I\'m all ears.!!!
However, with any future potential in restoring U-534..(If any?)
I do accept, that this boat should be perserved for what she \\\"IS\\\"
and for what historical value U-534 represent to us all, as well to all
the young men who served & died in these U-boats at a time
of World War...especially the war at sea.
