Pressure hull and outer skin thickness of U-boats.

Hi all,
I am new to this site. I am writing a paper about U-boat wreck sites and the site formation processes. I am trying to find out how thick the pressure hull and outer skin metal was on Type VIIC, Type VIIC/41 and a WWI Mittel U? Also is a torpeod that has been underwater since 1943 still dangerous? Is the explosive mixture rendered harmless in salt water and/or is it just the detonator that would be dangerous today?

I look forward to any replies or guidence on where I can find the answers to my questions.

regards

Neil
