Just to clarify: looking for the war correspondent info on U-582's 4th voyage, which was officially her 3rd war patrol from 22 June 1942 to 11 August 1942.

Honolulan's Master Bamforth describes seeing man with movie camera emerge from U-582 when it surfaced after the attack to question survivors, and image of Schulte and his L.I. Cords on bridge of U-582 after Port Hunter attack may have made it onto cover of Hamburger Illustrierte magazine.
