Das Boot actors.....Where are they now?

<HTML>Having watched the movie on DVD for the first time after buying a DVD player, I got to wondering what hadhappened to most of the main actors in the movie....ie,

I\'ve heard Gronemeyer (sp?) was a rock star of some sort...

I\'ve heard the original writer of the movie is somewhat of a recluse in Germany...? (Gunther Lothar???

I know Prochnow is still making movies...(What\'s the latest on him?)

BUT......

What about the \"chief\"....whose wife was ill and was always a little \"nervous\" onboard?

What about the \"No. 1....the Hitler Youth guy?

What about the officer with the squeeky voice who made the
\"U-Boat Special Cocktail\" at dinner one evening?

And Johann.....who can forget Johann...the Ghost!!

And anyone else all of you can think of. I\'m just curious.
