Hi, Paul Sander served on U103 as Obersteurmann from 07/40 until 10/41, he then was assigned to the U-boat tender Lech.However U103 sailed on her 5th patrol on 10.09.41 and did not return until 09.11.41, presumably Sander did not disembark during October mid-atlantic, did he actually leave U103 before or she sailed on her 5th patrol?, or on her return?, which would mean he was with her until November 41. john
