<HTML>Several years ago during the course of a family holiday to Normandy I took the opportunity to visit both Allied and German cemeteries.
St.Laurent-sur-Mer and St.james (American) made a profound impression ....the uniformed rows of white crosses ...I would defy anyone not to be moved by the sight.
Likewise the many British and Canadian located throughout the region.
La Cambe is simply haunting..the sheer size.
Above all this terrible loss of life one memory endured...a message of hate and ignorance inscribed in the visitors book at Huisnes-sur-Mer.
Respect comes with undestanding........the war dead of all nations deserve this. </HTML>
