Hi,

I can quote data from U 93 trials:
| rpm | speed | current consumption (both motors)
KF | 76 | 2 | 196
LF | 113 | 3 | 402
HF | 184 | 5 | 1334
GF | 275 | 7 | 1862
AK | 300 | 8 | 2996

In this document: [www.uboatarchive.net]
at page 133 (in paragraph "Capacity, discharging, final voltage")
you can find table with values of the discharge current and discharge
rate for a single battery.

Because at top speed, both batteries has to be connected in series,
their total capacity is equal to the capacity of single battery.
So one can estimate, that at top speed, when current consumption is
~3000 A, such discharge current will drain the battery in max 2 hours.

If you take into account the power consumption by others electric
equipment, it will be slightly less.

Of course, it also depends on the state of the battery (if new, undamaged,
properly serviced and charged, the plates are not sulphated).
