<HTML>I have commented about the film U 571 elsewhere. As I have yet to see the film I don\'t feel that I can offer a criticism of it. The thing to remember is that the purpose of a film is \"bums on seats\" and if people come out of the cinema wanting to know more about the Battle of the Atlantic then it has been worthwhile.The film certainly has got people talking so in that respect some good has come out of it. At the end of the day if you don\'t like the plot then watch the boats instead.

As an aside am I correct in thinking that the VIIC in one of the Indiana Jones films is the same as the one in Das Boot?
