I have seen a waterline kit some years ago, probably this one from Andrea
Miniatures. As I remember it was in 1/35 scale and its price was about $700.
They also produced it as a diorama, with some port-stuff and water for about $600.

Comparing to the $3000 kit, it seems quite cheap. Comparing to my expenses,
I never will have one.
