Hi Ken,

Thanks for all that technical information.

My current main field of interest is in RAF/RAAF patrols against U-Boat activity in the Med - particularly around the coasts of Italy and North Africa after 1943.

Does anyone know - would FuMO-64 and FuMO-391 Lessing have been used in that area then by U-Boats and, if so, did they prove effective?

Could anyone describe what this type of radar screen looked like in appearance (ie...from the point of view of the radar operator on the U-Boat itself).
