Hello Uboat.net crewmates,
Could you please help, I'm trying to find out as much info as I can regarding the launch procedure for a torpedo fired from a type VIIc .
Namely:
Could a torpedo be placed in a tube in readiness for a close range 'snap-shot' or did every eel need to have it's gyro set (and other torpedo computer criteria) prior to launch?
I'm thinking of the Naval equivalent of a gunfighter's un-aimed shot, from the hip... at very close range.
Thank you in advance for any any replies.
