My grandfather served on three different u-boats in WWI. In WWII he was a stationed in Paris as a supply officer, under the command of Admiral Donitz.
On behalf of my father, I trying to find information or documentation of his service in the submarine corps, and in WWI, of his internment in a Scottish POW camp. There is rumor of a diary he kept while in captivity.
My Grandfather's name was Karl-Detlef Blunck.
He served under a commander Salzwedel in WWI, which was when he was captured.
Would you be good enough to point me in the right direction? My German is flimsy at best.
Please reply directly to my e-mail address:

Thanks,
