Hello,

Was this "missing items of the radio and sonar rooms" list ever posted? I have a Telefunken E437S that I think came from the U-505 or U-805.

The Telefunken E437S was the primary HF receiver on Type II, VII and IX U-boats. This model receiver supposedly was replaced by the T9K39 or Kohn E52, but the only WWII radio room photos I've ever seen show the E437S and not the newer model receivers. The U-995 has a Telefunken E437S on display and the U-889 had this model radio receiver in her radio room at surrender.

Are there any early pictures of the U-505 radio room anywhere?

Who is the best contact for the U-505 these days?

Thank you,

Brian
