Ok, Marc Singleton asked about the possibility of human remains on the U-166.

Marc,

Sorry I did not see you question and respond sooner. There were and are human remains on U-352, which was sunk off the North Carolina coast, USA. Therefore it could be expected to find human remains on U-166.

No skeletal remains were observed during the ROV survey of U-166, but because the damaged area of the vessel is silted in below the seafloor, we do expect preserved skeletal remains are entombed inside U-166.
