u534 in a sorry state

i recently was on a toyota meeting at the engine plant at deeside in north wales i live in newcastle and on my way home i decided to go and visit the u534 at liverpool i was sadened to see the u-boat rusting away with loads of rust just droping off the boat , could they not spray on some anti corrosion material or something it seems such a shame to see it like that. i am really intereested in u-boats and always wanted to go and see the u534 next time i would like to go inside the ship
