<HTML>Hi John and everyone.
Further to my last posting I e/mailed the Warship Trust the same day and asked them questions in regards to U-534\'s preservation, and the on going debate on this very forum and would they like to comment!
I also mentioned people who would volunteer to help in her restoration! and to date I have had no reply back from them.
This is I think expected as other people have tryed with similar results, I cannot believe that their is nobody from the Warship Trust or any volunteers who work there that do not frequent this forum.
I keep this case open but I do not expect any further reply to the e/mail I sent them.
I cannot understand however why have they put a conning tower back on her?
If they do not intend to do something with her..... mind you I like the way they have left this new metal untreated so it can blend in with U-534\'s currant state of rust...well done boys you are perfect restorers! matching the colour!
