Maurice,

Your great grandfather died during the night of 15/16 February while his lifeboat was just five miles off the coast. They could not make landfall on the night of 15 February as the weather picked up. When Salvador Pulis passed away he was buried at sea.
If you want any further details on the ship please contact me or even better would be to contact Pat O'Brien (treatycity). Pat is involved in compiling an indepth history of LANGLEEFORD.
