U-679 found in Gulf of Finland

The hull of U-679 was found at depth of 90 meters beside a mine line by Finnish diver Immi Wallin and her Subzone diving team August-September this year.

The find was made in the boats patrol area, not where it was said to have been sunk by Soviet depth charges.
