Recommended U-boat model for 10 year-old

My 10 year-old son would like to build a U-boat (similar to the type depicted in the movie "Das Boot"). With so many model kits to choose from, does anyone have a recommendation for one that is not too challenging for this age nor so simple that it doesn't look great when it's complete. Danke.
