W.Herbert U-boat

Hello Folks,
being an a/c modeler i would ike to do a U-boat after reading the book from W.Herbert "Iron Cuffins"si i choose the Revell kit U-99 to start with,and i would like to know more about the colors, the scheme of the u-boats,any secial emblems on the kiosk?
I would like to know if like a/c is there Photoetched set or resin parts to be purchased to ehance this model,or even decals to do a special u-boat,i would like to do U-953.
If somebody out thre can help me,i would really appreciate,thank you very much in advance,best regards FRANCK.
