Hi Rainer.
Got your note "The saltwater and sun, however, had the tendency of bleaching the deck after a while to brownish woodcolor until stained again". This is what I thought as well (see my note re U-99 in this forum). Not many modellers seem to recognize this as per all the references to dark grey...Not many boats stayed pristine. Thanks again for your help.
