My apologies for posting in English. I will post this message in German next week.
I am trying to contact Guenter Nethge who was a crew member of U 862. I notice he contributed to this Forum in 2004 but that Email address no longer appears current. If anyone knows how to contact Guenter, or whether he is still with us, I'd appreciate the help. You can contact me at the Email address below in case Guenter does not want his details made public. I am researching a film script on the voyage of U 862 around New Zealand in 1945 and Guenter is one of the few crew members I have heard of who may still be with us.
