Technology and Operations
Hi folks!
First, thank you for your answeres on my previous post regarding binoculars.
As we all know you must be quiet in a submarine because even small sounds can reach an operator on a surface ship.
What kind of instruments were used for passive listening of talk and generally speaking any movement inside a sub?
How sensitive were these devices, would a dropped knife on the deck give you a court martial or at least a company beating?!
