U.S. submarine/torpedo compatibility

I realize that this is bit off-topic on a predominantly U-Boat site; ….but I am having real problems with a research project.

I am trying to determine which of the U.S. "Between the wars" classes were capable of using the MK14 torpedo, and which were limited to the use of the MK10.

Can anyone here point me at a good, "quotable" source for this information?

(I have also posted this question in the “Allies” forum; ….and I apologize for the redundancy, if that sort of thing is frowned on.)
