Torpedo stowage type XIV

In a detailed drawing of the type XIV at www.cshost.com/~greywolf/uboot/utyp_xiv.html it appeers that there are 4 torpedo stowage containers in the fore deck. In this website on the type XIV page it states that the stowage was on the aft deck. Does anyone know which is correct?
Does anyone have a list of what the XIV would (besides fuel) normally have taken on patrol for distribution (ie. canned food, spare parts) ?
