Hi Dan. The German U-boat escape vest was called a DRAEGER TAUCHRETTER , made by the firm DRAEGER and was not orange but a brown canvas. I have both a WWII version and a German DDR submarine escape vest in my collection , they are not for sale but can I help with information etc if you need it.
