German Seehund

Where had some informations about the operations of the German Seehunds at last weeks of WW2?
My greandfather was found from the alliied at sea (in april or mai)! He was a driver of a Seehund. It must exist old documents, wich containd informations about this...?!
I\'m very interested in some little detail.
