Hi,
I know that the U-boats where equipped with an instrument showing their diving angle, some kind of a simple pendulum and a scale I think. Does anyone know where that instrument where located?
And while I\'m at it, did they have an instrument showing their rate of descending/rising, similar to what can be found in an aeroplane. Or where they confined to study the depth gauge.

If anyone has pictures of these instruments, please send me copy.
