<HTML>I am seeking information about were the Axe class trawler HMS Garry
has served as a Royal Navy vessel during WWII.
Hms Garry was a trawlwr built by Smiths dock in 1916 for the Tsar Navy, and served in the Whitesea area. It become a Royal Navy vessel in the summer 1918 and named HMS Goldaxe. Later named HMS Garry, i think may this was in 1923.
HMS Garry and sister vessel HMS Dee was sold to Norway in 1946.
Hms Dee capsised in 1954, under the name m/s Vilfjell.
HMS Garry was named m/s Garry and served until 1980 when name change to m/s Myrland.She was broken up 21. june 1990 in stavanger.</HTML>
