HM sub Untiring

Hi all,
in a website maintained by an Australian organization there is a claim by the former XO of Untiring to the effect that sai sub made a torpedo attack off Toulon "in early 1944" and sustained a fair amount of damage from over 300 DCs dropped in its aftermath by the escorts.
I cannot find confirmation anywhere of this damage: is it factual or just poor memory on the part of the gentleman?
