This boat, missing unknown cause, listed as possibly mined off Kos on November 4th 1943, in a new German minefield. Question, as the attack reported by U 565 in the darkness of the 19th, in the Karpathos Strait, west of Rhodes, where detonations were heard, after which Simoom failed to answer her call sign,been ruled out, and which craft laid the minefield? john
