I think this is the vessel you are seaching for;
DEWSBURY 1686grt.built 1910 by Earles Shipbuilding and Engineering, Hull (UK) owned by the L&NER.
There is a photograph of this vessel in the Barnard & Cartland Collection at the Hull Town Docks Museum.
I cannot find anything about her career as a rescue ship.
