<HTML>HMS Clare ( Penant 114) was a lend lease Destroyer from the USA to the Royal Navy in September 1940. She was on Atlantic and Mediterranean convoy duty. In October 1940 a Wireman by the name of Arnold Wilkes, aged approx 24 was killed whilst serving on her. His name is Honoured on the Memorial at Plymouth Hoe. His son is is trying to obtain any information on his father as he was a baby when his father died. Could any one help please.</HTML>
