You don't give any dates - there has been only one 'Avondale' in British naval service, which was a Banff registered drifter, 80 tons, built 1911, which was hired for service in the First World War. Hired in January 1915 she was used as a net barrier tender and employed on the Otranto barrage in the Adriatic.
She was sunk by Austrian cruisers on 15 May 1917.
If you are looking for a ship in WW2, then there is no 'Avondale', the nearest being 'Avon Vale'. This was a 'Type II' Hunt class destroyer escort built on Clydeside, launched 23 Oct. 1940, scrapped in 1958.
