<HTML>Indefatigable was modified for Far East service in late 1944 and sailed for the Pacific in November of that year, arriving on station in December 1944; her first operation on her new station being on 4 January 1945 (attack on oil refineries in Sumatra).
Adamant was based at Trincomalee from mid-1943, moving to Fremantle, Western Australia, in April 1945.</HTML>
