As you may know, HMAS CESSNOCK was a Beathurst class M/S, J175.
For photos, suggest you try emailing the Australian Naval Historical Society at secretary@navyhistory.org.au. They charge for their services but I believe they have a photo collection and may be able to give you some leads to find some "old ship mates."
