<HTML>My brother, Edward L.Pardey served on board 2 Royal Navy ships during World War II. The first one was H.M.S.Selkirk, a minesweeper which was attacked by a German aircraft in the North Sea causing it to be beached. He then joined the crew of H.M.S.Lulworth, an ex-American Coastguard cutter which had been transferred to the Royal Navy under the Lease/Lend scheme. Lulworth was, for a time, used on convoy duty in the Atlantic, for how long I do not know. It then went round the Cape Of Good Hope and took up similar duties in the Indian Ocean. My brother served as Coder and, when demobilised in early 1946 did, I believe, have the rank of Leading Seaman. Is it possible that you have any record of his Royal Navy service?</HTML>
