I would like to know more about what the ship and what they did.I have some of his pictures, and a certificate from the ship for crossing the arctic circle. Also he was given a service medal from Russia in 1988. I would like to know how many sailors received it also.He never spoke of the war while I was growing up so I am trying to find out a little more about him. I have no books at my fingertips and am not sure what are the best to look at. I think my mother may still have his service record. Thanks, Harold</HTML>
