I believe I still have pictures of the USS Pope while she was in service in 1944. My father was aboard the USS Guadalacanal which was a part of the fleet along with the USS Pillsbury, USS Chatelain and USS Flaherty. I beleive there are a few picture taken from the Guadecanal of the other ships in the fleet, including the Pope
