I think my grandfather was a leading seaman on board this ship. There is some confusion in that I thought the spelling of the ship was Cormerin, but can find no ship listed of that spelling. So, I am re-thinking that the ship was Comorin.
Are there any ships crew lists that I could check? My grandfather's name was Christopher Johnson and he came from Sunderland, Tyne and Wear area.
