The history of this old V&W class destroyer was researched and published by Bob Moore, a former CO of TS Venomous, Loughborough, in 1990 as "HMS Venomous, a hard fough ship".
My father served on HMS Venomous in 1944-5 and having worked in publishing I offered to publish a new enlarged edition. Publication was expeted this Autumn but, tragically, Bob Moore died a month ago.
It is hoped to complete Bob's work and publish the book as a memorial to the officers and crew of HMS Venomous and also to celebrate Bob 's dedication to preserving its memory.
I shall be very glad to hear from those who have served on HMS Venomous or who have relatives who served on the ship.
