Hello all,

There is some wonderful detailed information regarding HMS Tiptoe on this site which is of particular interest as my grandfather served aboard her during WW2.

I would like to know the sources though, as all i can see mentioned is "The T Class Subs" by Paul Kemp. There are a couple of errors in the History section which i have emailed about but it does make me want to check the original sources!

With particular reference to the detailed patrol information, where would this have come from? The actual ship's log or is this archived reports or a crew members diary or memoirs?

Any help would be much appreciated as i always prefer to go "back to source" if possible.
