<HTML>Hi all,
there is a mention in Ian Buxton' "Big gun monitors" of an attack being made by a sub on Stavros harbor at "the end of the month" of August 1918, in which Abercrombie was missed and Endymion torpedoed, though the bulges saved the old warrior from sinking. It can only be the attack by UC37, no other HM cruiser was hit in the Med at this time, thought you may like to have a confirmation,
best, Brian</HTML>
