Conning tower space

<HTML>I am new here to the this forum, although, I have been visiting the U-Boat.net for years. Anyway, I have always been intrigued by the World War I U-Boat (probably because they are not as popular a subject as their World War II counterparts). With that in mind, I am curious if anyone knows how many crew members could actually fit inside the standard (if there was a standard sub) World War I Conning Tower? They look incredibly small from the outside. Also, are there any surviving World War I U-Boats left? I am sure they were all scrapped after 1918, but you never know.

Take Care,
