<HTML>Hello. I've checked the search for this but couldn't find anything, so I appologize if this has already been asked.
The U-boats in WWI used the standard G6 (I believe) torpedo. Anyways, I'm just curious as the process that had to be done when firing a torpedo? Also, I was reading around and I saw something about being able to shoot at 90 degrees???
"All torpedoes were equipped with a device allowing the torpedo to be shot at an angle to the Target of up ± 90°."
I was under the impression that these torpedos were simply off a dumb-fire system. Can anyone clarify? Thx!</HTML>
