Hello,
As anyone easy access to a pre 1915 Lloyds register. I am looking for the official number of the cable layer
MONARCH (2)
Length 240.0 ft. Breadth 33.0 ft. Depth 17.9 ft. Gross tonnage 1122.
Built in 1883 by J & D Dunlop and Company, Port Glasgow. Owned by the GPO.
Sunk by a mine laid by UC5, 8 Sep, 1915.
I have looked at the usual online sources to no avail.
Any help appreciated.
thanks and regards
Roger
