Hello,
i am Michael, working on a own Database about ships and submarines
in WWW1 and WW2.
In this Forum is a exchange with informations about ships and persons
in the ww1 on a high level. Some answers I have found without a question.
But now i have a own question.
In the "www.mariners-i.co.uk" is the loss of the british ship
CITY OF FLORENCE, 5399grt, on 20.July.1917 count at UC 17.
Also in the "www.usmm.org" (US-Maritime-Service-Vets) is the loss
of the us-ship AUGUSTUS WELT, 1221grt, on 21.July.1917, count to UC 17 too.
In Bendert "The UC-Boats" is UC 17 not at sea.
9th Patrol = 14.June.1917 - 28.June.1917
10th Patrol = 16.Aug.1917 - 23.Aug.1917
two more vessels sunk in the same time, but I have no sub found.
21.July.1917 - HAROLD, 1376grt, british sailing vessel and at
25.July.1917 - RUSTINGTON, 3071grt, british Steamer.
Has anyone more informatoins ?
