Kptlt Siegfried Claaßen

Hi All,

Elsewhere on this site it states that he was commander of SMU 52 17.11.17 - 28.2.17(should be 18) & that SMU 52 was in the II flotilla 27.4.17 - 11.11.18.

Eherenrangliste der Kaiserliche Deutschen Marine states that he was born 5.12.1884 Crew 4.02. Kptlt 15.11.13(C).
Also he was from "4.17 - 6.17 U=boots=Sch. Ausb., Werft Kiel, Assist. f. U=Bootsw. bis ende.
(IV. u. II. Fl. z. Inf. 1.18 - 4.18)"

I cannot find any other references to him. Did he ever command SMU 52 or any other U-boat??
