Hello

Just a point of clarification. This site says that U 157, Ortwin Rave, was interned at Trondheim, Norway, on 11 November 1918. The previous commander was Max Valentiner who left the boat (his last) on 20 July 1918. I was checking something in Tony Bridgland, Outrage at Sea, and found on p. 196: 'At the time of the Armistice, Valentiner was at sea. Rather than return to the dangerous revolutionary chaos that was currently the situation in any German dockyard, he put into Trondheim in Norway, to be interned there.'

Has Bridgland made a mistake?

Best wishes
